We believe everyone deserves cute rope accessories!
Shibarbie started the way many meaningful things do…. As a nickname/persona given to myself by my fellow students and friends who saw how I carried myself in rope classes and how I dressed when attending events, I realized that a theme that came out of a moment of play had slowly revealed something true about myself. What began as a playful identity within the rope community grew into a way of showing up, learning, and creating in a space that often feels visually bland, rigid, or unwelcoming to femme expression. Shibarbie stood for a welcoming energy that was inclusive and of course… dipped in pink!
Shibarbie is for the girlies, by the girlies. ( Girlies and Girly-pop DEFINITELY not a binary here btw!) This brand exists to bring softness, fun, and personality into shibari without losing respect for the craft, the safety, or the depth of the practice. We believe rope can be cute and serious, playful and disciplined, aesthetic and intentional all at once.
This platform is both a brand and the rope diary of Goddess Lexi. We document our ongoing education, practice sessions, lessons learned, and the very real process of becoming better over time. Shibari is a lifelong study, and Shibarbie values transparency over perfection. Growth happens in repetition, reflection, and connection.
Shibarbie offers locally/community-sourced custom rope gear, accessories, and merch designed around real needs of the practice while certainly prioritizing fun. Along with our offerings, we have an ongoing “pinkbook” of BIPOC safe recommended rope community friends to guide you along on your journey to find classes, workshops, instructors, and continuing education. We invite you to take a look at our accompanying Blog, Rope Bites to learn more about my own personal practice.
Everything is created with an emphasis on ethics, accessibility, and care. Our goal is to make rope gear feel more approachable, joyful, and personal, especially for those who may not see themselves reflected in traditional rope spaces.
Community is central to everything we do. Through partnerships with local organizations, organizing workshops, vending events, and beginner-friendly event offerings, Shibarbie works to expand access to rope education while intentionally centering femme and BIPOC voices in the community.
Shibarbie is not about having it all figured out. It’s about tying in as you are, learning out loud, and finding beauty in the process.
Cute. Capable. Connected….Welcome to Shibarbieland!
Shibarbie is a femme forward rope brand and community created as a safe, welcoming space for the girlies! We blend beautiful rope accessories, fun and ethical rope offerings to make rope needs more approachable, joyful, and accessible while honoring the practice with care and intention.

Our Limited Edition Sparkle Bedazzled Safety Shears are an essential safety tool for rope practice, designed for quick, controlled cutting in emergency situations. These shears are not a toy, accessory, or prop they are a critical part of you rope kit.
Built to cut through rope efficiently when time matters, safety shears should always be within arm’s reach during tying.
While these are bedazzled with Shibarbie flair, their purpose is serious: protecting the well-being of everyone involved.
Important care & use notes:
Safety shears may dull or misalign after a single emergency use and should be inspected and often replaced after cutting rope.
Best practice is to keep more than one pair in your rope kit, ensuring access if one is dropped, misplaced, or compromised.
• These shears are intended solely for emergency rope removal and should never be used for casual cutting.

Available in 3ft, 6 ft, or 12 ft lengths, this rope is perfect for foundational ties, practice sessions, decorative work, and floor-based rope play.
Cotton is known for its smooth texture and flexibility, making it a popular choice for those who find natural fibers like jute too rough. As with all rope, we encourage exploring different fibers to discover what feels best for your body and your practice.
Care tip: Cotton ropes can be gently hand-washed and air-dried as needed. Conditioning is not required, but light maintenance helps preserve softness and longevity.
Important note* this rope is not intended for suspensions and should only be used for non-load-bearing ties and practice.
Accessible, soft, and thoughtfully chosen because everyone deserves a comfortable place to start!

Each rope is selected with care and dyed in our signature pink, bringing a little joy and personality to a traditionally neutral space. Jute offers structure and grip, making it a popular choice for many rope artists but every body is different. We encourage experimenting with fibers to find what feels best for your skin, especially if you have sensitivities.
Care tip: Lightly conditioning your rope with jojoba oil helps maintain flexibility and comfort while extending the life of the fiber.
Important note* These ropes are not intended for suspensions. They are best suited for ground work, decorative ties, skill-building, and non-load-bearing applications.
Fun, functional, and thoughtfully made. Because rope gear should feel as good as it looks.
